Secure link to iTunes Store failed.

Whenever i am trying to connect my iPhone 4 to the iTunes installed on my computer, it starts accessing itunes store but couldn't access it.


I've run the diagnostic test under the tab of "Help" and the result is as follows.

In the course of your troubleshooting to date, have you worked through the following document?

I had the same problem, "secure link to Itunes store failed windows 7". I repaired Itunes, I removed and reinstalled Itunes, I ran netsh winsock reset at the command line, no luck. But I saw the Autoruns page and checked mine on Autoruns and found a program called StationRipper had affected my Winsock settings. I removed StationRipper and Voila! Itunes store is back!
