WiFi problems in a specific room of the house with MacBook Pro and not with MacBook

We have 2 Apple notebooks, a MacBook and a MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro has intermittent WiFi issues in a particular room and the MacBook never has problems in the same room. When the issue occurs, normally turning wifi off and then back on corrects the issue. Other times, we have to repeat this procedure multiple times. Occasionally, we have to move to another room to use the MacBook Pro.

Our router is an older time capsule set for 802.11n only at 5.0 ghz.

Does anyone have ideas or suggestions? Is there additional information that I can provide to assist in diagnosis?

Any assistance is appreciated.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2009), Mac OS X (10.7.3)
