I lost my apple tv remote. Is it possible to control my apple tv device from my macbook pro?

Unfortunately, you cannot control your Apple TV from your computer. You can airplay consent from iTunes on your computer to the Apple TV, but you cannot make it function in any other way from the Mac.

If you have already set up your Apple TV and connected it to your network, and you have an iOS device, you can download the remote app which will let you use the Apple TV from your iOS device.
