Time machine can not be entered when prompted
For some reason time machine does not react when I want to enter to find a past file version. Any suggestions what to do? Thanks.

Yay I solved it! Looking around I found a link to this website http://pondini.org/TM/Troubleshooting.html following the steps posted on it helped to fix the problem. This site is a big help, thanks.
