I have an iPod, 6th generation. My battery is not charging. It's hooked up to my iMac OSX. iTunes recognizes the ipod and I can update music, etc. I have reset my iPod from the iPod and restored the settings from iTunes. It still is not charging, not even attempting to . . .

OK. this is pretty straight forward. Your sync cable is probably frayed inside ( SOME wires inside are cut inside) or your 30 pin dock connector on your ipod nano 6th gen has foreign objects in it (dust, tissue etc.)
I blew air into the ipod. I also tried a new power/charging cord, but nothing changes. The same cord works to charge my iPhone, so i don't think it's the cord. Any more ideas?
Ok, l have one last solution. Refund it. If you're still in the warranty time limit, you're in luck; other than that, l'm out of solutions. Sorry.
