App store stuck on loading

When I try to use the App Store my IPad 2 IOS 5 simply says "loading" and will go no further. I have reset the IPad as suggested on the discussion pages, no luck. I have completely reset the IPad from Settings and restored it. An hour or so later, still all I get is "loading". Anyone got any other bright ideas as to what to try next?

Do you have a solid Wi-fi connection? Have you attempted connecting to the App Store on a different network?

Try double tapping the home button and then long pressing down on the App Store icon, then killing the process. Restart it and see what happens.

If you can get out to the internet with Safari and other apps, I'm not sure what the issue is if killing the app and restarting it doesn't work.

It is possible that the problem is on the App Store server end. That has been known to happen. Usually though, other users would be reporting problems with it as well, but you never know.

There are some other things that you could try.

Settings>General>Reset Network Settings. You would need to enter your WiFi password again.

See if you can access the app store from somewhere else that has WiFi - Strabucks, McDonalds, anywhere close that you could run to and give it a shot - if you haven't tried that yet.
