That is not possible - the best you could do is create a PDF of the book and find someone who will print and bind it - preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference and third party printing

Thanks for the replies, LarryHN and Old Toad.
I was able to grab the background images in the baby theme in iPhoto 6 and import them to iPhoto 11 which allows me to use a photo as the background. So I sorta recreated what I had in iPhoto 6.
But I ran into another issue. Apple's product page indicates that picture books can be done in 3 sizes (L, M, S) but iPhoto seems to default to L (11x8.5) and I couldn't find a way to change to M (8x6).
I should also mention the version is 9.2.
