Why aren't my Photo Booth photos showing up in Photo Booth?

My photo booth photos dissappear from preview strip at the bottom of the application window after it is restarted. I can get to the photos in Finder but not through the app.

I finally figured this out. In Finder, Control Click on your Photo Booth Library, and choose Show Package Contents. You will see a Recents.plist file, I had to move the original to my desktop. Launch Photo Booth so that it would create a new Recents.plist, I took one photo with photo booth, quit the program and relaunched it to verify that new photos now show up in the strips along the bottom of the application window. I closed Photo Booth, then edited the newly created Recents.plist string values to list all of the photos in the pictures folder for the Photo Booth library. Luckily I just started using Photo Booth and only had about a couple dozen photos to manually code into the recents.plist. Don't think this would be a feasible fix for someone with a ton of photos and videos.
