hey i just got this new camcorde for 300 and my mac software is 10.2.8, i need the newest virsion of mac osX. im just a kid and dont have that much money. can you please tell me the cheapest solution to updatet to the latests virsion?

There is no way the newest version of OSX (10.7) will run on a computer that is presently running 10.2 You will have to buy a used Mac.

It would help to have details on the model camera you purchased to know exactly which system it requires, but in any case I think you will need to go computer shopping. Depending upon which system the computer requires you may be able to buy an older used one for a couple of hundred dollars.
