cannot airprint pdf from safari

Question

cannot airprint pdf from safari

using a website from att to view account. I can print account info ok on airprint. There is a link to view bill as pdf. i do this, i can get print dialog and request print but nothing happens. Ideas?

iPad, iOS 5.1

In addition to Print, I have options to open in iBooks as well as just "Open In" when reading a PDF mail attachment. If you can not print from mail, how about opening in iBooks, and trying to print there?

I wonder if your Print Queue might have a bad print job stuck in it? Double click your iPad's Home button, and a row of recent Apps will line up along the bottom of the screen. Scroll across and look for the Print Center. If you cancel the bad print job, it may work the next time you try to print.

The pdf view document does in fact print fine from Ibooks and also from Print Bureau.

Very clearly seems to be a bug in how Safari add ons handle printing.

I can also easily replicate this issue. In fact, when attempting to print a pdf from Safari it does not even make into the Print Center. Not that it helps, I agree that this appears to be a bug or at least a product oversight in that the feature was omitted entirely.

Opening in iBooks seems to work fine. Haven't tried Print Bureau.
