Q: ipod will not sync

I had to format my PC and erase all contents - then I reloaded iTunes library succesfully back into iTunes.  Now my iPod, when I plug it in, is recognized by this computer but when I go to add new tunes to the iPod, it won't allow me to do it.  Instead I get a circle with a line through it.  Does anyone have any solutions for me?

    - You can only synce with one iTunes library and now the iPod sees you rebuilt computer and a new itunes library.

    - With everything on the computer/iTunes library, connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up. Then restore the iPod from that backup.
