Q: It is flush but still not working.

I have connected my headphone jack flush to my nano but it still quits playing when display turns off. This just started in the last week or so.

    Could you provide a picture of the your headphone connection just to verify? 

     

    It might not also hurt to check the jack for any signs of debris or damage that could be preventing a full connection of the headset.  If nothing else, try another set of headphones as well.
