Safari 5.1.5
Safari is frequently taking up to 30 seconds to add new bookmarks to my folders.
This began within the last couple of weeks.
All of my software is up to date.
I've not changed any settings.
I'd appreciate any help that anyone can provide.

If you haven't tried emptying the cache and resetting...
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
If that doesn't help, back to the menu bar, click Safari > Reset Safari. Select the top 5 boxes, click Reset.
If that didn't help either, open the Finder.
From the menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
Typs this exactly as you see it here: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit then relaunch Safari. Try adding a bookmark.
