Why even go out to disc? If I was doing this, I'd edit the stills as a "slideshow" movie in Final Cut Pro or similar app using ProRes 422 HQ 1920x1080 resolution. Then export a Quicktime movie with "same settings". This will be a very high quality and large file. Then using something like "Episode" or "Quicktime" export a high quality H.264 mov file at the same size (1920x1080). Upload that to Vimeo or YouTube and if it's private put a password on it. That way you only have to email or SMS the URL+password to your clients or friends. And if there's changes necessary, you're just using some bandwidth rather than wasting a bunch of plastic DVD's or BluRay discs.
