Hello, my friend has lost an iPhone 4 today in Bratislava, Slovakia. We have already reported to the Slovakian Police. We have one problem about this issue, now we are in Austria and at the moment we don’t know IMEI, ICCID or Serial Number of the device, because the all documents of lost iPhone is in our home country and also we don’t remember on which ID the device is registered. Because of all this we cannot checkup the device with programs such as iCloud or Find My iPhone. Please provide the information on how can we find this iPhone, what measures we can use, what to do for the next step. Please confirm and reply as soon as possible.

I lost my unlocked iPhone 4s (ka-ching!) in London. I'm now in the US. I had a Vodaphone sim card in the phone at the time. I called Vodaphone and gave them my UK phone number. They were able to block the sim card AND they had the IMEI number and were able to block my handset (the iPhone) from use by any carrier in the UK. I then contacted T-Mobile (my carrier in the US) and they blocked the handset as well.

I used "Find My iPhone" app on iCloud, but could not connect to my iPhone as it is not on-line. The note at the bottom of the "Find My iPhone" screen says "Actions will apply when this iPhone connects to the internet." Not sure how that can happen if the phone is locked (head scratch here).

My battery was low when I last used my phone and I'm not sure if it is laying around in the back of some cab, dead, or if I can't find it because I'm looking from the US. Does anyone know the answer to this question?

Its been over a week and I'm losing hope. Sniff.

I lost my iPhone 4s. I had a Vodafone sim card in the phone.

Not sure how that can happen if the phone is locked and I didn't block my sim card.

Can be restored an iPhone if there was a numeric password on the iPhone ?

With IMEI ever operator can block the phone just in a country, why there isn't an European agreement ??
