Hi everybody, i've got a late 2008 Macbook PRO 5,1 Core due duo 2.4Ghz, 8GB RAM and an SSD Crucial M4 2546GB.

I've got the following problem: exposè and dock bar are tremendously laggy and stuttering.

No fluid animations at all.

i've changed back the stock internal mechanical drive, 5400 Hitachi disk, and animations are fluid as they should be. No side effects at all, except obviously, the slower speed.

Basically, SSD on these machines has got known problems like spinning beachballs. Beside this, they are tremondously fast in normal operations but if i add also this laggy behaviour i don't think the trick worth it.

Does anybody here have some SSD on a Macbook PRO 5,1 and has the same problem?
