In order to sync your iWork documents between your iOS devices and your Macs, you need the iWork applications on all devices, however you appear to be saying you have.

Once set up properly you should be able to upload documents from your Mac to iCloud.com by dragging and dropping. In order to recover documents created on your iOS devices on your Macs, you simply click the download button on each document at iCloud.com

Thanks for quick reply. I have i works on both machines the imac and the ipad in the form of apps. I was able to upload one item to i cloud from the ipad. I have not been able to do it with the imac.

Phones Apple and they told me to join iworks.com to upload doc's to. This i did still no joy.

I will keep trying and looking for idears.

At the moment bt is rejecting my password on all my Apple machines using mail, but letting me in on yahoo. Its a funny old world. I will keep smiling.

There is no need to sign up for iWork.com, in fact iWork.com is soon to be discontinued. Documents created on an iOS device are automatically added to iCloud if everything is set up correctly, documents from the Mac need uploading to the website iCloud.com (the link I provided in my earlier post), did you try this.
