No 'Reminders' in 'notification center without ICloud

I'm not using ICloud because we're on a boat without Internet most of the time.

I'm trying to configure 'reminders' to show up in the 'notification center drop down' and can't do it. I know I'm not stupid and have looked everywhere for an answer on how to get it to show up without an Internet connection so I'm asking the community.

Can it be done offline?

Any help appreciated. I'd like it to remind me of boat stuff to do, repair or purchase while we're out of Internet range.

Reminders won't appear in Notification Center unless you set a time for the task to be done. They will only appear once you arrive at a location set for the reminder, or the assigned due date is gets close. You can tell Reminders how far in advance you want to know about the task, but that's about it.

You would think that you could set it p as a todo and it would stay until it gets checked.

If there is another app that will allow it to do that for only a couple of bucks please let me know ,,,, otherwise,, thanks for the answer.

OK!

If I set a date in the past and tell it to repeat every day iit shows up.

Wouldn't have found that if you didn't point me in the right direction.
