My iphone will not turn on and it is already charged.

can someone help out, the power button and home button when pressed together doesnt even show the apple or itunes logo, but when i plug it it vibrates, need help!
this is the same thing that happened to my iphone 4. it was working and then out of no where it shut off by its self i dont know how to get my phone to work?
