Naming a region?
I feel silly asking something that seems so simple - is there a way to rename a region? I see there's an option to rename it from the track name, but any way to just type a new name in?

Text tool ?
I usually use the 'track name to regions' function when I've copied regions and they bear an unfitting name, or text tool in particular circumstances. Granted, you have to select the tool first, but not every action, in any software, can be reduced to total simplicity.
It isn't, of course, silly at all - we probably all have our own way of doing things.
