Thanks for trying to help me. I do not want the playlist removed from Itunes.. only from the Ipod. I followed your suggestion, but it seems to be for removing a playlist from Itunes, not selectively from one Ipod. 🙂

Select the iPod in iTunes then click the Music tab. This ONLY for syncing what is the iPod.

It will NOT affect what is in iTunes.

Well, I just did it,

You just did what?

and it DID remove the file from my iTunes' playlists.

Deselecting something on the music tab after selecting the iDevice, will not delete anything from iTunes.

Fortunately, being a cautious guy, I deleted a file called "testing".

Since you are "cautious", perhaps you should reread this entire thread.

Why did you delete anything? No one suggested this...

Okay, I'm game, so I've now created another playlist entitled TEST. I've also placed a song in it. Now, first, what do you mean by "deselect"? I now see that I misread it as "DELETE", but I don't know what "deselect" means. Oh, yes, I have downloaded the song to my iPod. Now my test will be to delete it from my iPod but not from my iTunes library. Oh, one last thing, I have been doing all of this manually, and my iTunes Preferrences still shows "Prevent iPod, iPhone, and iPod from syncing automatically".
