How do I Clear the Emoji Recent List?

How do I clear out the Emoji recent list?

The recent list could be useful, however it does not seem to work effectively. It has accumulated the first icons I used, many of which were accidental selections. The icons however, never update, recently used icons never replace the first ones that were used.

There must be some way to reset the cache.

Any ideas?
