How do I purchase an iTunes voucher delivered by email on my iPad. Tried iTunes apple store and apple via safari

I don't believe that you can, though I may have missed something. Purchasing gift vouchers, to the best of my knowledge, can be done only through iTunes on a computer.

Amazon is a different company, so what you can buy from them has no relation on what you can buy from the iTunes Store. Amazon does everything from a standard web site, whereas the iTunes Store is built around an application (iTunes).
