I've never had problems publishing my site before...now a box pops up asking me to log in to Facebook to use iWeb. When I log in it says 'Success', and the 'Publish Site' link turns grey as though it's publishing but the site doesn't publish. What am I doing wrong?

You need to uncheck the Facebook update. Its a bug in iWeb that won't be fixed because Apple isn't supporting it anymore.
