Which language are you using on your computer?

English -- iBook templates are in a language I don't recognize
Type over them. The 'language' in the templates is just something that looks like Latin to show you what the formatting looks like. So, replace it with your text or content in whatever language you want.
If you don't type over the 'dummy' text, does it just appear blank? This is my million dollar question. I just want a picture book, I don't want to have to write corny captions, but it seems I have to go into every text box and delete them, I can't 'batch' do it - painful when you have a 40+ page book. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Lisa

It certainly will not be blank if you leave it there. You have to at least click on it and hit the Delete key.
Templates with dummy text are only a couple pages long, after that you can insert blank pages
Thanks - that's why my original questions was whether there was a picture only template, as when you have imported 40 photos, that's alot of pages to go in and delete dummy text from.
Each template that I've looked at so far comes with text boxes. Do you know if there is one that is just pictures?
Thanks,
Lisa
Your closest is probably going to be the "Photo Book" template. There are page templates in that which only feature a picture and a caption.
