May 4, 2012 8:40 AM in response to kriya babajiby Frank Caggiano,The key question is, is the Aperture 3 that you bought an upgrade version or full version? And how and when did you buy it, Apple online store, DVD or App Store?
If it is an upgrade version you will need to enter you're Aperture 2 serial number. If it is a full version then have a look at Troubleshooting Professional Application Serial Numbers and Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers
Finally you can try going to /Library/Application Support/ProApps and seeing if there are any files there with Aperture in their name in some form. Post back if there is.
