Ever since I have upgraded to OS Lion, I can not use my iDVD Application; it keeps quiting everytime I try to do anything on it. Does anyone know why this is or how can I fix it? Your help is very much appreciated.

Upgrading to Lion in some cases makes iDVD unuseable. In such case you need to reinstall the iDVD app from its original disk or from your backup external harddrive. I had to do this myself.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I did try this. I have the original iLife08 DVD and I reinstalled the iDVD from it. but now it doesn't even open. the error message says that its not compatible with the running version of the OSx.
I also have iLife09 original DVD but that does not have iDVD in it.
Not sure what to do next. I am really cross with Apple for not involving the iDVD with Lion (even if it was an older version, they should atleast have made it compatible).

iDVD is compatable with Lion. I carried it over from Snow Leopard when I upgraded and it runs faultlessly. I do not know what has happened during your upgrade that has caused it to stop working properly.
