OSX Lion: 64-bit Kernel and Extensions NO

I partitioned my hard drive into 2 partitions. 1 installed OSX Snow Leopard and the other OSX Lion.

However, I can't get the OSX Lion to 64-bit Kernel.

I tried to go to terminal and did the

sudo systemsetup -setkernelbootarchitecture x86_64

It says the changes to kernel have been saved. But, when I check on the About this Mac, it still says NO 64-Bit.

Any recommendation?

Use your System Profiler in Utilities or Apple menu --> About This Mac --> More Info. Click Hardware on the left and look at Hardware Overview on the right. Look at Model Identifier. For me is says MacPro5,1. If you at least post the Model Identifier I could use MacTracker to hunt down the info on your model.
