Problem with connecting camera

My macbook doesn't see nikon d800. I pluged it, but it didn't displayed in finder...

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Have you tried asking at the Nikon forums before accusing Apple. I know it's frustrating, but perhaps the camera is not compatable with Lion, perhaps there is an update at Nikon which will solve the issue. I have a Panasonic and my wife has a Canon and we have had no issues attaching camera directly to our Macs and transfering photos into iPhoto.
