i have this little problem...

i use these thumb drives to put my music sets on. and they work good but for some reason all my files become locked when i copy them to this drive..its the only drive thats mac journaled..not sure if thats the cause. but i cant edit my files in locked mode and i edit every file singlehandedly. and there is tens of thousands of them..i need a program that can unlock thousands of seperate files at a time..and open the permissions so that i can add regions and other info to them and it will be saved..i use serato final scratch appilcation to edit files..
