A simple search in this forum will yield me the answer, and after I post here I will be utilizing the search function more.

I need to buy a new external drive for use to deliver a completed project.

Quicktime

1440 x 1080

ProRess 422

4 video files of about 10GB each.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I need to look for:

7200 RPM

Firewire or eSATA

For final delivery, you are looking for getting a drive with connectivity options. The drive might end up in the hands of someone who doesn't have firewire or eSATA...then what?  USB.  Get a quad interface drive from OWC...USB, Firewire 400, Firewire 800, eSATA.  Bases covered.

eSATA and Firewire 800 will be fast drives and a lot more accessible for most users than Thunderbolt.

OWD, http://www.macsales.com has some good options if you want a quick reference point.
