I am locked out of my ipod touch and forgot the password. How can i get into it without restoring it?

PC WAY

1.Plug the iPod in computer.

2.Go to "My Computer" And click the apporiate drive your your iPod.

3.Change the folder option to "View all hidden files and folders"

4.Navigate to ipod_control

5.Then go to Device

6.Then there is a file there named"_Unlocked"

7.Open that up with a text editor (Notepad) and viola the passcode is right there.

It'll be interesting if this still works. I thought Apple did something recently to no longer allow iDevices to be used in disk mode.

That won't work, Kyle. iPod touches don't have a "disk mode" and so will not mount on a computer in the way older iPods do.

I have the same problem, and even further I cannot see where the drive is to open the iPOD on my computer

the message on my iPOD says disabled

I am stuck

How do you restore it?
