my ipod touch will not come out of the black boot screen

i have got my ipod touch working again and now it wont come out of the black boot screen. and i dont know how to fix it.

iPod touch, iOS 5.1

You can try turning your device of . then you hold off for 10 seconds hold home for 5 and it will go in recovery mode then try plugging it in to itunes.
