expedite shipping worth the money?

I'm considering to change my shipping method to 2nd day or expedite shipping. Is it worth the money? or standard shipping is just as fast?

Also, I ordered on 2/19 with expected shipping on 3/21 and delivery on 28th. What are the chances of them shipping early? or should i still rely on the expected shipping? because I would need a delivery address change IF they only ship out on the expected date.

It's not worth it in my mind. I got the free shipping and it shipped from China on a Wed (Tuesday US time) and arrived on Friday. That's pretty quick to me.

Are the units shipped from China by standard shipping delivered by Fedex's ground service? "Fedex Home" on the van, or something like it. Or, by the regular FedEx van.

I'm not crazy about the ground deliveries. Not very communicative. And, the kid tossed my wife's refurb PowerBook( from California) in front of the garage until he realized it had to be signed for.

I can't say that without exception it isn't worth it
but I have two data points. You can compare for
yourself.

Dang, wish I’d had that data before I made the decision to pay extra for expedited shipping. ;-)>

I think free ship is fine. I got mine in 3 days from China to Michigan. You are going to wait like 3 weeks anyhow for a customized MBP, whats an extra 3 days.
