Hi,just got iPad 3 and have iPhone 4s. I have lots of events in my calender,how can I get this on iPad without doing it all again? Also how about all apps on iPhone? Also if I add anything on iPhone,will it go on iPad by it self. Thank u for time and help as its all new to me.

Have you enabled iCloud? Both should mirror each other. Or you can restore from a backup.
In terms of apps, go into settings and turn on automatic downloads or sync via iTunes.
Not a stupid question. The easiest thing you can do is to set up your new iPad with the most recent backup of your iPhone. Your apps, calendar, contacts, etc., will all be put on your new device. If you're on the cloud, you can do this from the cloud. If not, you can do it quite easily via iTunes sync on your computer.

So when i set up the iPad when it arrives on sat.
Do I start new iPad on first set up? and how from there to I get all my back up from my iPhone?

Ok thank you,watch a video on iTunes it said not to do it this way as after the installation of the back up onto the iPad it did work correctly or does it work?
