Should I open a new account?

My ipad seems to only want to allow me access to one account. I've been reading that I can't delete Apple accounts and I should open a new account. I'm having troubles now because I have two many accounts going, I don't see how opening a new account is going to help me out. Could you please share some thoughts on this? Much thanks.
