Safari freezes when editing bookmarks

Safari freezes when editing bookmarks

Safari freezes for few seconds every single time I try to edit bookmarks. On activity monitor, it says "Safari (Not Responding)".

Here's what I tried:

Cleared history, cache and website data.
Turned off extensions.
Turned off iCloud syncing.
Uninstalled Flash, Flip4Mac and Perian.

Still no luck. Any idea?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

It looks like it was corrupted preferences. I trashed com.apple.safari.plist and it works fine now.

Try what I did. Go to ~/Library/Preferences, move com.apple.safari.plist to your desktop. Relaunch Safari. If that helped, trash that .plist file. If not, move it back to the preferences folder.
