I have the exact same problem.
Adobe Support have tried to help with this but they inform me that it is not an Adobe problem by a Mac OS X 10.7 issue.
It needs to be addressed by Apple as it is an ongoing issue with no fix yet from Apple.

What Adobe Support really meant to say was the bugs in Acrobat 8 may have been fixed in Acrobat 9 or Acrobat X (but don't count on it) and you can either buy the new version or stop bothering us. Adobe's answer to incompatibilities brought about by OS upgrades tends to be "Upgrade to our new version" rather than offering an update to fix the bug.
