is there a way to leave messages on the server with a pop email?

I have a POP email through Godaddy and I want to set it up in with the Mail app. However I do not want Mail to delete anything off the Godaddy server as I often need to referenece my email through the webmail when at work. Is there a way to have the Mail app only delete messages off the server if I delete them in mail? Kind of want it to work like it does on my phone where it will show the messages but only deletes them off the server if I delete them on my phone myself.
