I downloaded the new iOS for my husbands phone, my contacts ended up on his phone and his on mine. When I deleted his contacts from MYaddress book in my iPhone, it deleted the contacts in his phone. Is there anyway to get them back?

Only if you still have a backup of your devices from the time before this happend. Then you could restore the devices from those backups, as the contact info is part of the backup as well.
Okay, where is my backup on iCloud??? I was searching and searching and couldn't find them anywhere
