I recently purchased Iphone 4s and used the wall charger provided from Apple to Charge my Ipod Touch. Now I have a blank white screen wont turn off or anything. Can anyone suggest what I can do to resolve my problem please?

No. The iPod is erased only if you must restore it, and that just means you have to restore its content from its backup on your computer.
