imac g5 not starting, not gonging

Question

imac g5 not starting, not gonging

my g5 imac wil show the start light, so I know it works, it won't gong or start up!!! please help!!!!!!!!

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8), G5

It is possible the PRAM battery is dead. It is also possible the capacitors have broken, that model had many issues with the power manager and capacitors breaking down. Bring it in for service.

He is probably going to have a fun time finding anyone to work on the old G5 iMac.

I know when my PowerMac G5 Quad lose a processor the most that I could get Apple to do was help me read the LEDs. They very quickly told me that I would have to find somone else to fix it because they no longer support PowerPC Macs.
