I just bought and Oxygen 49 controller.  I downloaded the proper driver from M-Audio, selected a "software instrument" in Logic, even reset the MIDI drivers in Logic.  No matter what I do, I can't get it to produce sound, even though it seems to be "seeing" the notes I press.  I know installed the proper driver because it works perfectly in Garageband.  Any suggestions?

Have you used Logic before and had it working?

Make sure the correct audio interface/drivers in Logic are selected... Logic doesn't "do things" for you like Garageband does... you've entered the world of professional software.

Go to the upper right  HELP menu, type in the word...       Preferences

    Select       Preferences > Audio

This shows you how to set up your audio audio system in Logic.
