error 2000

When trying to load an application associated with itunes, I received the following error, Error -2000: a necessary data reference could not be resolved

(the new essential apps april 2012). How do I fix this problem on a PC using Windows 7 64 bit? I am also experiencing a audio problem

with itunes in which the videos I view play back with no sound. I have already reinstalled and gone through a number of the recommended

steps posted on the Apple website.
