i want to do a restore from backup on my
iphone, but i'm afraid to lose the game
progress of my apps.
has anyone experience with this problem? is game progress in the backup or will i lose every progress in games?

App data is included in the iPhone backup. So, if you want to create a current backup, sync your phone, then restore. If you restore from an older backup, current app data, on your phone, will be replaced with the app data included in the backup you restore from. After you restore, you must sync to restore iTunes content, as no iTunes content is included in the iPhone backup.
