Set audio levels...

"Tone should be lined up to tone recorded at PPM 4, which is - 8db with respect to peak level. No audio on either leg, or in mono derived from each leg, shall peak to more than PPM 6."

I'm not a 100% sure that I'm understanding this correctly...

When I drop bars and tone into the time line, the default plays at -12db

So... is the audio levels ,accourding to the spec, meant to play at -8db and not peak above PPM 6? And am I correct to say that PPM 6 equals 0db...?

or is what I'm thinking completely incorrect?
