HT3215 I am having a problem with my new ipod nano. Halfway through a song it shuts off. I am trying to determine if it is the battery. How can I tell if it is charging. It is not flashing and is all white in appearance. Does that mean it is full?

I am having a problem with my new ipod nano. Halfway through a sont it stops and I have to restart it. If works fine on a docking station. I have tried it with 3 separate types of earphones and same thing happens. I wondered if it is my battery, which il all white when I connect it - which I think means it is full. I bought it a week ago. Any idea why I am having this problem. Everything is off is the settings section.
This is usually an indication that your iPod's headphones are not plugged all the way in. The white part of the headset should be flush with the body of the Nano and no silver from the plug should still be seen.
Thanks. That's exactly what it was. I went to future Shop and they told me the same thing. Felt kind of silly but I guess 3 other people went in with the same problem recently so I felt a little better.
