My imported videos from my digital camera do not play.

Whether they will play depends upon what format they are in - the natively supported formats are (from here) :

Video formats supported: H.264 video up to 1080p, 30 frames per second, High Profile level 4.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format

If your camera doesn't shoot video in any of those formats then you could have a look in the app store for an app that will, or you can copy them to your computer first and convert and then sync them.

just download an app such

as GOOD player (better as it has the option to boost your video volume by 200%) AV player or VLC player

VLC player is available for free on itunes

the ones that i've recommended above, all are very good as i've used them

so just downloading any of these apps listed above will help you to play almost all the video formats available and do not need to worry about converting your videos again

Where are your imported video currently located?

Try and save/copy your video to My Video in computer. Use File Sharing in iTune to copy them over.
