iTunes deleted all the songs I had in my iPod and not all of them had backup. Is there anyway to restore my music?

Accidentally unplugged my iPod from Mac while playing a song and iTunes deleted all the songs I had. I do not have all of them in backup because I used to be a PC user. Is there a way to recover them? It is also interesting that other files I had storaged using my iPod as a HD still there. Only the songs are gone.
