FCP X won't read HDV movies from Samsung OIS Duo Q10

Hiiii ! I have bought a Samsung HD Q10 "Switchgrip Compact Full HD Camcorder"

I have filmed HD movies in 1080p at 60fps, and the quality is beautiful but when i wanna import them on my MacBook Pro early 2011, 13".

Once imported, videos can't be readed normally, it looks like some frames are missed. So the video is readed and images are deformed, and it looks like 1980 TV. I imported them in Final Cut Pro X but the images don't show when i play video, just black screen. In the timeline videos, vignettes are not created.

I have tried with another macbook Pro but no luck !

HDV videos are not readed correctly ! Plz help

1080p60 is outside the HDV spec. This is a proprietary Samsung spec that doesn't conform to standards and isn't supported.

I think you've been mislead. From the Samsung spec page

Video Recording

Full HD 1920x1080/60i, HD 1280x720/60p

1080i60 is 29.97fps.

I don't see anything that says this is HDV either.

If i have told you that it was HDV, it was because after recording, films are defaulty named "HDV_Movie_1".

So what can i do ? Please don't tell me that there is no way to do it ! I just bought it 4 days ago ! I really wanna use it ! Can't i use compressor or convert to another codec for getting it work on my mac ?

No, it won't work as is. I take it this is not reecording on tape. Try using MPEG Streamclip and see what happens.

Where are you seeing the file names? Where really help to get some hard information on this and screen shots. Maybe try opening in the QT player nd see what it says in the movie inspector.

Quicktime says 59,23fps. So i can't use them in FCP X? :'( (wanna cry)
